Sioux Falls Family Speaks Out After Sanford Pathology Report Shows Pfizer Vaccine Contributed to Son’s Death
"He Was Always Pro-Science, and Pro-Vaccine"

Sioux Falls resident Kaylee Koch is speaking out about the recent death of her brother, Joseph Keating. The Defender initially broke the Keating Family's story on January 11, 2022, two months after Joseph’s sudden passing. Koch is now sounding the alarm in an attempt to save other South Dakotans from suffering her brother's fate.

The Keating family says that Joseph was fine after his first and second dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Four days after his booster however, Joseph, an otherwise healthy 26 year old man suddenly died. Upon an extensive autopsy, Joseph’s heart was found to have suffered from severe
Myocarditis, damaging every aspect of the heart, including the deepest recess of the left ventricle.

“When the pathologist looked at the 22 segments of Joseph’s heart, it showed the vaccine inflamed and attacked his entire heart. There was so much damage … to the heart. It was full multi-focal myocarditis, and it wasn’t just affecting one part of his heart, it was attacking his whole septum and ventricles,” Joseph's mother Cayleen Keating stated in The Defender. The Pfizer vaccine was added as a contributing factor of death, on the certificate filled out by Sanford's pathology department.

Kaylee says that her family has reached out to everyone they can imagine, trying to warn others of the vaccine's danger, including Gov. Kristi Noem’s office. “My father personally handed Gov. Noem Joseph’s pathology results and his death certificate. He asked her to please inform others in South Dakota that this Covid vaccine reaction can happen, and to rightly inform South Dakotans of the dangers of this Covid vaccine and booster,” Koch told The Dakota Leader by phone Friday afternoon.

The family has not heard back from the Governor’s office, or Keloland news who had initially
reported Joseph's death, related to a cured childhood condition. Joseph Keating had a rare childhood condition that Keloland had reported on through the years. On November 08, 2021 Koch shared the article on social media, stating "Thank you Don Jorgensen for the wonderful heartfelt tribute to Joseph Keating! You have been there the whole way, always so kind to our family! We had many fun Children’s Miracle Network days together. Our family was saddened, yet so very happy to see this story on him. Thank you ❤️ (Autopsy results are pending)." December 22, 2021 Koch shares an update, "Update on Joseph Keating - We received his autopsy back and are in shock at the results. He passed away from 'Myocarditis in the left ventricle due to the recent Pfizer Covid 19 booster vaccine.'"

The family reached out to Keloland to clarify, and share the Sanford's pathology report.
As documented below, reports clearly show Joseph’s brain was cured and not the cause of his death, instead listing the Pfizer vaccine as the primary contributing factor of death. Keloland interviewed the family, but then refused to run the story.

A source close to the family says that the South Dakota Department of Health contacted Keloland and told them not to run the story, as they did not have confirmation from the CDC regarding Joseph’s cause of death. The Dakota Leader reached out to the Department of Health for a statement. After waiting two full weeks prior to publishing, the Department of Health has so far failed to respond to requests for information.

According to the CDC website
”Healthcare providers and vaccine manufacturers are required by law to report certain events after vaccination.VAERS is not designed to determine if a vaccine caused or contributed to an adverse event.”

Soon after, Koch reported that she had reached out to the National Institute of Health (NIH), hoping to share the results of the autopsy and death certificate. Koch says the NIH responded with a request for Joseph’s tissue samples, in order to conduct their own autopsy. Reluctantly the Keating family agreed to send samples to the NIH for further study. Citing concerns that the NIH might be more interested in changing the cause of death, the Keating family asked that the original pathologist from Sanford be involved in, and assist with, the NIH investigation. The has NIH agreed, now Joseph's family awaits the results of yet another autopsy.

Koch stated on social media, “If you knew Joseph, you knew he LOVED science and he was always pro-science and pro-vaccine. He trusted science and did his part. We understand Joseph represents a rare and small portion who experienced negative side effects from the vaccine, but we are choosing to share this news not by starting any controversy or retaliation or telling you to get vaccinated or not, we are sharing this in hopes that people understand that these reactions exist and are very real and to be rightly informed. We want answers why this happened and we want more research done so no one else goes through this heartache. We want the CDC and the FDA and the media to honestly communicate with the medical community and the public what is happening and what can happen, not be silenced. We want to be heard and we want Joseph in everyone's memory. We love you Joseph and we miss you.”

The Dakota Leader will follow-up with the family of Joseph Keating, and update our audience when new information becomes available. We extend our sincerest compassion and sympathy to the Keating and Koch families, and thank them for bravely speaking out on this difficult topic.
